News reaching us today was that, a fire cracker warehouse yesterday sparked a major fire outbreak in the Jankara area of Lagos.
The massive fire took control of houses and injured forty people according to Ibrahim Farinloye, the National Emergency Management Agency spokesperson in Lagos.
The heavy Explosions from the "knockouts" caused panic amongst residents of the area.
The national emergency management authority (NEMA) said the army, navy and airforce joined in putting out the fire by midday.
Thanks to God no dealth was recorded.
