Every Woman's Dream:Cost Of Wedding Dresses In The Uk

The Big Day
In the Uk and Europe, the average costs of a wedding dress is estimated to be over £1,000 while the hosting of a wedding cost relatively £20,000. thats a huge some of money if that is converted to Naira. The truth is, Recession seems not to influence wedding negatively because most brides and grooms want that day to be a memorable day no matter the price it may cost.
In Africa and Nigeria most expecially, wedding is very significant to many and most societal big men make sure their son's and daughter's have the best of the day. The ordinary man can spend like 30 to 50,000 Naira on a wedding dress, while the Rich will lavish 200 to 300,000 Naira on a wedding dress.
The word wedding has alot of stuff attach to itself, like retailers, caterers, cake makers, florists etc. with this, it is very easy to see where all the cost price of hosting a wedding comes from.

Brides Magazine has calculated that the average cost of a wedding dress is now over £1,000, with the photographs and video footage coming in at close to £2,000 and even the florist cooking up a cost of between £300 and £400 on average.  Don’t forget the venue, the catering, the honeymoon, the thank you gifts for the wedding party and it soon adds up.

But there’s really no sane reason why something for a wedding should cost four times the price on any other occasion.
Is there any reason why the cost of a wedding will be far more higher than any other occasion?
Nollyjist News need your comment. thank you.
